New $10 Enters Circulation
Today is the day that the new Australian $10 enters circulation and becomes legal tender. It's been a long process of design and implementation, and everything should run smoothly. Cash machines and readers have had 6 months to prepare for the introduction of the new note and therefore there should be minimal hiccups.

Excpect to see the new note being given as change and be aware that it contains the similar security features of the new $5 note that was released around the same time last year. A strip of clear plastic with raised profiles and a lot of additional changes to help prevent anyone producing fakes.
For more information, take a look at the media release from the RBA here.
