Adult Age Restrictions

This feature allows you to record an ID and Date of Birth against the transaction to ensure the customer is of legal age for that transaction. It is configured by Department, and anything sold from that Department will prompt the operator to choose if they need to see an ID or not. If an ID is not produced, any sales from linked departments will not be allowed and the sale will be cancelled.

In Global Options, you are able to configure the Adult ages specific to your requirements.

On the POS screen, when an item from any selected Department is entered, the operator can choose if the person is required to show ID. Select the ID that the customer produces to prove their age.

The ID Type and Date of Birth will be recorded against the transaction in the Journal History and Activity Log.
