Idealpos releases Stock Manage app

Idealpos Solutions would like to introduce you to our very first mobile application called Stock Manage, for the iPod touch, iPhone and iPad devices. It has been an interesting road to get to this point, and we have learnt a lot as we progressed.

Stock Manage is for use with the Idealpos Point of Sale software to help streamline the procedure of performing Stocktakes, Transfers, Receiving Stock and Adding Barcodes. It allows data to be transferred wirelessly over the network directly into the Idealpos database in a minimal amount of time.

Barcode scanning is possible for your iPod touch, iPhone and iPad when using the Mobilogics iScan device. If you would like a more rugged solution you can use the iPod compatible scanning solutions. Barcode scanning would suit large stock volume environments where speed and ease of use is required. In the coming months we expect our supplier to have a scanning solution for the latest Apple devices using the Lightning Connector.

For low volume sites that don’t require a scanner, it is possible to use the application without a scanner device and enter the items manually by searching with a keyboard. This could also save an initial investment in hardware that may not be required as your business grows.
